It would be better if it had no animation at all, to be fair to all the contestants who haven’t mastered animation yet. ;)
- In a themed party, you can freely post as many entries as you want, and the subject is more generic.
- In a contest, you can only submit one entry and people will decide afterwards about the three best entries. The subject of the contests is more exact.

Thing is, I’m thinking about prolonging this week’s challenges a bit to give you all some more time because I’d love to see more entries. :)

When I created this blog, I considered this solution also, but I somehow find it less righteous, since getting notes doesn’t only depends on how many people like a given graphic. It’s based on many factors - are theere any people around when the graphic gets reblogged, does it get reblogged by a blogger having a lot of followers or not, etc.
Voting by this method I kind of invented may be a bit more difficult and such, but I hope that this way the people voting at least revise all the graphics available and see the whole picture. :)

You mean writing fiction and stuff? That’s an interesting suggestion, I haven’t thought about that! Well, this is primarily a graphics blog, but you just gave me an idea for a special challenge! (They shouldn’t be regular, I guess, cause our main profile are graphics, after all.)
